Peter Wannop Surfacing Ltd are well established business with over 30 years of experience and can provide full commercial and domestic tarmac driveway packages from excavation to a smooth rolled finish. Tarmac is still one of the most popular driveways material used today.
Whilst tarmac driveways are one of the most economical driveway surfacing solutions, it can still be a very attractive option, especially with the extensive array of decorative edgings and features available. Additionally, savings can be achieved due to the fact that most existing tarmacadam and concrete driveways can be overlaid with a new wearing course, which means less disruption when replacing an existing tarmac driveway.

We offer a comprehensive range of surfacing repairs within the commercial and private sectors including patch repairs, joint repairs and complete resurfacing.

Tar & Chipping

Using tar and chip is a great way to do up, or redo a road surface. It has a much more natural look than asphalt which can integrate better into more natural surroundings.

We can use this method for small jobs (such as small driveways and paths) all they way though to large scale public use (such as public highways).

We also provide a variety of different colours and sizes of the stone chips.

Patching & Potholes

Potholes are more prevalent during, or shortly after, poor weather conditions, with different approaches used for repair to ensure continued strain compatibility with the surrounding road structure. Hot-mix asphalt has been identified as the preffered infil repair material owing to its relative ease of compaction and durability. Cold lay is a quicker repair ideal for smaller excavations / potholes.

We can provide a variety of different patching services to suit your needs, ranging from one small pothole to large scale projects.

Domestic Surfacing

Paving.
We undertake all types of paving work including patios, driveways, footpaths, kerb laying and tarmac laying. We design all paving to drain freely to gullies or other disposal points.
